Hey! I'm Marek — actor, creative soul, and someone who genuinely loves what he does.
I'm currently represented by Jill Kabush at Dorothy S. Management, and I'm always on the lookout for the next exciting project to be part of.
I caught the acting bug back home in the Czech Republic. I got my start performing at places like Moravian Theater Olomouc, Theater DiGoknu, and Mladá Scéna II — doing everything from amateur shows to professional productions. I was so hooked on storytelling that I even started my own production company and made short films. That's when I realized I wanted to understand every side of this craft, not just what happens in front of the camera.
Moving to Canada was a big leap, and I jumped right in with intensive training at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. It pushed me, challenged me, and honestly made me a much better actor. Since then, I've signed with my agent, performed in theaters like Theatre Around The Corner, and been part of some really cool independent film projects around Vancouver.
One thing I'm really grateful for is getting to work on some major productions early on — Power Rangers, Bates Motel, the Riverdale pilot, DC: Legends of Tomorrow, and Phil. Being on those sets taught me so much about how big productions actually work — the energy, the pace, the teamwork. It's one thing to study the craft, but nothing beats learning it firsthand on a real set with hundreds of people all working together to bring a story to life.
Acting is my number one, but creativity is kind of my thing across the board. I also DJ, write articles, and illustrate, and honestly, all of it feeds into my acting. Every creative outlet gives me something new to bring to a role — a different perspective, a different energy. I think that's what keeps things fresh.
At the end of the day, I'm just a guy who loves telling stories and keeps working hard to get better at it. I'm ready for the next one — let's make something great.
